Get ready for dessert in a glass!!!
I’ve been experimenting with dessert smoothies lately and it’s been pretty awesome. The reason I love dessert smoothies is you can make a satisfying, filling, incredibly yum-tastic dessert without flour, sugar, dairy, or any of the other normal dessert culprits.
Fruit, pecans, cinnamon, nutmeg, almond milk….a total winning combo! This bad boy tastes just like apple pie.
Apple Pie Smoothie:
- 1 apple (any kind – I used pink lady)
- 1/2 banana
- 2 dates
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 tbsp pecans
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- A few ice cubes
Blend until smooth!
