I recently posted about Coconut Milk, and it’s quickly become a staple in my fridge. But a delicious ice cream that isn’t made with dairy, soy or sugar? It’s true folks, and it’s my newest love. I’ve made the switch from soy ice cream to coconut milk ice cream, and it’s so good that I just had to share with you!
The brand I’m loving is Coconut Bliss. When I first came across this ice cream, I thought it was too good to be true! They make their ice cream from 2 of my favorite ingredients: coconut milk and agave syrup. Agave is a natural sweetener produced in Mexico from the agave plant – it’s low on the glycemic index, so it’s more gentle on your body than regular sugar.
Coconut Bliss comes in a variety of delicious flavors (my favorites are Mint Galactica and Cappuccino). It’s gluten-free and made with certified fair-trade ingredients. And, of course, vegan.
The Mint Galactica is the only flavor right now that is made with a small amount of organic cane sugar (used to make the chocolate flakes). All other flavors are strictly agave sweetened.
