Lately I’ve been feeling like there’s a bit too much soy in my life. Now, let’s get one thing straight – I haven’t done enough research on the whole soy controversy to give hard facts about soy nutrition, so that’s not what this post is about. But I do find that being a vegetarian means soy shows up a lot. When I realized how much soy milk my boyfriend and I were going through in a week, I started thinking it was time to find an alternative.
Enter coconut milk. I’m already a huge fan of coconut water, so I figured this would be a fantastic beverage to try. Turns out it’s delicious and jam-packed with health benefits.

Coconut milk is also said to moisturize the skin and boost the immune system to fight off disease.
Best of all, it’s soy and dairy free. And why wouldn’t you want an extra dose of tropical bliss in your day?
