Happy 2016, my friends!
I know what you’re probably thinking right now. “2015 is so yesterday.” #hilaryduff
2015 may be over, but part of preparing for the new is honoring the past, reflecting on what you’ve done, and then looking excitedly ahead towards where you want to go.
I’ll be honest – for a blogger, I didn’t do a lot of blogging this year. What I did do, though, was travel around the world – Seychelles, Hong Kong, Barcelona, Berlin, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, San Diego, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Victoria, Austin, Boulder, Denver, DC, Maine, Montauk, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago and of course my home in Brooklyn, just to name a few…and I posted ALL of it on instagram. It was, despite some difficult times, one of the most incredible years of my life so far…full of adventure and love.
That being said, the adventures of 2015 didn’t leave me with a lot of bandwidth for blogging. ;) But the content I did post here on the blog? Well, it was very important to me, and close to my heart. If I was going to take the time to write a blog from a terrace in Barcelona or a hotel room in Bangkok, there’s gotta be some passion behind it!!
I also published an e-book this year, that I wrote while I was in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I rarely sell ANYTHING of my own creation here on Healthy Crush (aside from a $4 mini e-book I wrote years ago that kinda makes me cringe to think about…), so this is a huge deal to me. I’ve made most of my revenue on Healthy Crush through affiliate partnerships for the last 5 years, but I’ve always wanted to create my own products. It’s extremely hard for me to pin myself down and actually create something start-to-finish (there are so many things to distract me in the world!), so the fact that I sat down and pumped out a 41-page e-book that contains all of my best tools and resources for feeling amazing…well, I’m a proud e-book mama. This is only the beginning, I expect.
If you’d like to get 20% off on my potent little e-book, the Rapid Reset 1-Day Cleanse, you can enter code feelgood and get the discount. I’ve extended the coupon code until January 4th, because for some reason people seem to be waiting until Monday to let their healthy resolutions kick in. ;) Hey, that’s totally cool. When New Years falls on a weekend, ya do what you gotta DO!!
So, that being said, I plan to post a lot more content on the blog this year, because sharing through writing is one of the key components of what makes me feel happy and alive. It’s so awesome to me that I’ve created a life where I can make passive income that allows me to travel the way I have been, but I’m excited to balance it back out and create more writing this year. I’m also going to be taking a couple of really exciting training programs (starting with a Bulletproof Coach training) this year – so I’m thinking I’ll have a ton to share about!
This year I was also on TV a couple of times, which is the most terrifying thing for me, but I got out of my comfort zone and just freaking did it. I ended up on the Dr. Oz show 3 times (the best one hasn’t even aired yet, where I will get stuck with a needle and then forced to workout… ;)) and I was on Fox News talking about my favorite addiction of 2015, float tanks. I recorded a couple of silly periscope videos, too. It was a pretty wild year!!
Here are some of the blogs I was most excited about writing in 2015. I hope you’ll find them helpful, useful, or at least mildly entertaining.
