This week, I’m on a road trip with Gabrielle Bernstein, traveling to Philadelphia and Delaware. Today we got to attend the Pennsylvania Conference for Women – there were so many awesome speakers there, inspiring people to live fearlessly.
Being surrounded by people who are vibrating positive energy and tapping into their highest potential reminded me of the Ultimate Success Mantra from the book The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks. Why? Well, because all of us have so much potential to share greatness with the world that we aren’t tapping into. When I first read The Big Leap, I realized some of the ways that I block the inspired creative flow in my own life, and how I see others doing the same every day. In so many instances, we don’t acknowledge our own greatness. But the truth is, tapping authentically into our own highest potential inspires others to tap into theirs…thus creating a ripple effect of inspired peeps creating awesome stuff. :) So we’re really doing a disservice to the world if we don’t share our unique gifts.
Anyway, here’s the mantra. I have it set as the background of my laptop…it’s a nice affirmation to remind you that your success contributes to other people being happy too.
“I expand in abundance, success and love every day as I inspire others to do the same.”
Use this mantra, friends!
A few ways we block our own potential:
- Not acting on creative inspiration
- Overeating, overdrinking, overdrugging, numbing out
- Negative self-talk
- Listening to + believing negative talk from others
- Letting overwhelm stop us from even starting something
Those are just a few. If you think you’re blocking yourself from reaching a higher state of success, happiness, abundance, love…whatever — I recommend checking out The Big Leap: Conquering Your Hidden Fear + Taking Your Life To The Next Level.
Because being your best self is awesome.

Today was the most inspiring thing I have done in a long, long time. Sitting in on Gabrielle’s talk was enlightening, heart-breaking, and motivating for me as I am in the midst of some big changes in my life and I’m so crippled by fear. I had no idea that today’s conference would be such a personal experience for me. Thank you for playing your part in Gabrielle’s talk today, as it definitely touched me in some really deep places.
