This is a twist on the traditional cranberry sauce. I decided to add apples to give it a milder flavor and some more texture. It ended up being the perfect, refreshing compliment to a savory holiday meal! Plus, there’s no cooking involved, so it’s extremely easy to make.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 2 red apples (any kind), chopped
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- Juice from 1 orange
Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor (I used a Vitamix) and blend until well mixed but still chunky! If you blend it too much, you may have to strain some of the liquid out.
That’s it.
Yum. SUPER GOOD.
