Hey, courageous warrior friends!
At the beginning of 2014, I made a commitment to get out of my comfort zone way more this year. I’m no stranger to taking chances or doing things differently, but this year I’ve done so many things I was previously scared to do.
Pushing your comfort zone makes life SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING! And exhilarating, and awesome. It has turned my reality into a magical place that I want to experience fully every day.
A couple of things I’ve done so far in 2014 (ALL of them pushed my personal comfort zone a lot):
-Did A 30-Day Fitness Challenge
-Went to A Naked Yoga Class
-Made My First Video (and then made another one)
-Took A 6 Week Hip Hop Dance Class
-Did The Landmark Forum & Landmark Advanced Course
–Learned to Surf in Nicaragua
-Went to Burning Man (I’m there now, living in the desert as we speak– AND staying sober there (!) You’ll get the full report when I get back).
Shortly after I decided to embark on this crusade, I met Joel Runyon. Immediately, I was like “YO. This guy gets it.” He’s dedicated his life to pushing his limits and doing seemingly impossible things — and helping other people do the same.
Ever since I found out he existed, he’s been inspiring me to play even bigger in my own life. He’s definitely one of the most impressive humans I’ve ever met.
Joel’s latest project is the biggest challenge he’s ever faced.
It’s totally comfort-zone crushing and wildly inspiring.
He’s running 7 ULTRA marathons on 7 continents to raise money to build 7 schools with Pencils of Promise.
It makes my comfort zone crusade look like nap time!!!!

“Running all of these ultra marathons seems impossible to me right now. But for a lot of people out there, something as simple as a basic education actually is impossible for them.”
When you break it down to individual contributions, even a small contribution makes a difference. When you have a lot of people behind you, it suddenly becomes a lot more possible.”
Support This Project – Take Action – Help Build A School
If 250 people commit to donating just $25 per month for a year, that’s $75,000!! (3 schools!) This is the most impactful action you can take to support this project.
You guys, you can help make a HUGE difference in the lives of so many kids. Let’s make the impossible POSSIBLE. Donate here!
When we push our personal edges, as one of my favorite authors, Oriah, says:
“Once you recognize within yourself a hunger for something beyond just continuing, once you taste even the POSSIBILITY of touching the meaning enfolded in your life, you can never be completely content with just going through the motions. There is no going back.”
I love that quote!
I hope this inspires you to push the limits of what’s possible in your own life. The more you get out of your comfort zone, the more you can help others achieve greatness.
That’s rockstar status, homies!
Join the cause + make the impossible possible!
As always, thanks for reading.
This is so much fun. I love you guys.
