Happy St. Patty’s Day!
Ok, fine. This isn’t actually BEER. Don’t be mad. But it’s green, bubbly, and will make you feel amazing (with no hangover!)
Normally, green beer on St. Patty’s Day is made with green food coloring. WTF is food coloring? It’s NOT food, that’s all I know, and there are plenty of things that are actually green by nature that are much better for you. :) My version of green beer takes a little more effort to make than just cracking open a beer can, but I promise you it’s worth it!
The inspiration for this green “beer”– One day, I was happily making a big jug of green juice and I remembered that I had a multi-green kombucha in my fridge. I thought…why not combine the two and see what happens!? It was a bold move, but the results were so delicious I knew I had to share it with you guys for good old St. Patrick’s Day. Get your green on!
Here you go:
GREEN “BEER”:
- 8 oz freshly juiced green juice (recipe here or here)
- 8 oz GT’s Multi-Green Kombucha (available at Whole Foods)
Combine juice and kombucha. Drink and celebrate!
