Why haven’t I written this one yet? I guess my favorite healthy NYC spots feel so familiar that I forgot to put together a guide….but it’s about time.
I’ve lived in NYC for about 5 1/2 years. My first year here, I was more concerned with finding the best pizza (Di Fara’s), falafel (Taim) and beer (Alphabet City Beer Co) than I was with finding green juice and kale salads. Ah, how times have changed! The past 4 years or so I’ve been hitting up every healthy spot I could find, and now it’s time I share some of my favorites with you.
These are mostly in Manhattan or Williamsburg, Brooklyn since that’s where I’ve lived, so if you have any other favorites feel free to let me know in the comments. NYC restaurants open and close at a lightening fast pace, so you never know when a great gem will pop up!

This is such a fantastic resource! Thank you so much for compiling it. I’d add Lite Delights on Houston between Mott and Mulberry for juice and Earth Matters health food store on Ludlow. :)
