One of my favorite things about yoga/nutrition/natural health conferences is finding new great companies and products that are spreading the healthy vibe. Over the weekend at the Yoga Journal Conference in Estes Park, CO, I found a new favorite: NudeFood!
NudeFood is a company based in beautiful Boulder, Colorado that makes nutrient-dense food bars and powder blends that you can add to smoothies and more.
As soon as I checked in at the conference, I met Dave from NudeFood and he gave me one of their Cherry Vanilla Macadamia bars and a pack of the Breakfast Boost blend. After one of my yoga classes, I tried the Cherry Vanilla Macadamia bar and it was AWESOME. I usually don’t eat a lot of bars, and when I do they usually don’t taste so fantastic. These are seriously legit. I think I spent the rest of the conference keeping my eyes peeled for Dave to see if he had any more.
Luckily, after the conference I was able to stop by Whole Foods in Boulder and get a few more flavors to try. I just bit into the Mocha Coconut Creme and it’s also super good (but the Cherry Vanilla Macadamia one is my favorite so far).
Another cool thing about NudeFood is they have a lot of great nutrition information on their site, so you can get an idea of what you’re eating and why they chose each ingredient. NudeFood is “dedicated to creating the most delicious, nutrient-dense foods ever.” Their bars are 100% vegan, gluten free, soy free, corn free, whey free and non-GMO. Their meticulously sourced ingredients are blended raw, in a process intended to feature their natural integrity and nutritional potential. They even feature a book on their site called “The Nutrient Dense Eating Plan” to further show their dedication to helping people learn about living a healthier lifestyle.
NudeFood can be found in Whole Foods and other health food stores in the Rocky Mountain region, but you can also order them online.
Thanks for rocking, NudeFood!
