It was August 15th, 2007.
I walked into work, late and extremely hungover, at 11am on a Wednesday. This was becoming a common occurrence.
But today was different. I knew I needed help. Life was beginning to feel unmanageable. I felt hopeless, passionless, purposeless and I completely lacked integrity in every area of my life.
I looked at my boss as I walked into the office, and said, in a panicked tone, “Can I talk to you?”
He could tell something was wrong. He also knew me well, and had seen the pattern of destruction that was quickly becoming my everyday existence. He said, “Sure – let’s go into the kitchen.”
We walked into the office kitchen where nobody could overhear. I looked at him and said, tears unexpectedly welling up in my eyes, “I think I need help.”
I hardly knew where the words were coming from.
He said, “I have a friend who can help you.” He directed me down the stairs and outside onto a noisy New York City block. We walked down Crosby Street, the bright sun making my eyes hurt, and as we walked, he made a phone call.
“Gab? Hey. I have a dear friend who I think you can help.”
He handed me the phone immediately.
“Hello…?”
“Hey. Meet me for dinner tonight at 7pm at Westville, on 10th and A.”
“Ok…”
“I’m here for you. I’ll be here for you for the rest of your life if you need me. See you tonight.”
I had no idea what I was getting into, I was just going through the motions. At that point I’d agree to do anything.
Earlier that morning, I had stood next to the east river in Manhattan, looking down into the deep brown water. I actually had the thought, “jumping into that river seems better than facing my life right now.” I had hit my own personal rock bottom.
That night, I met Gabby Bernstein for dinner and she became my mentor.
My entire life completely changed. I’ve spoken to her almost every day since that dinner in 2007. And today, because of that phone call, I live a life beyond my wildest dreams. Not only did I quit drinking alcohol and flush a bag of cocaine down the toilet that day — but I am a completely different woman today. A woman filled with passion, integrity, purpose, hope, happiness, wild creativity, abundant love, health, vibrancy and success. I never dreamed it was possible.
When I say I feel passionate about Gabby’s work, it isn’t just a fun hobby for me. It’s because everything Gabby has taught me for the past 11 years completely flipped my life upside down in ways I could have never imagined.
It would be a complete disservice if I didn’t share these teachings with you. I have an obligation to. These teachings literally gave me a new life.
In the past 11 years, I’ve learned from Gabby:
- How to recognize my passions and talents.
- How to get through struggle and see the light on the other side.
- How to release my fear, stop playing small, and stop hiding out in old patterns.
- How to connect to a higher source of power, inspiration, and confidence.
- How to make money from work I’m passionate about.
- How to live a life of true purpose, connection and alignment.
- How to spread my message and turn my blog into a business that financially supports me.
- How to fiercely believe that I’m being taken care of by a higher power.
- How to turn my visions into reality.
- ….and so, so, SO much more.
Gabby has put all of her most impactful teachings into a digital course, which mean you can have all of this too – and I promise you it will be the most radical and miracle-inducing investment you’ve ever made in your life. I wish I had more words to describe what this work will do for you, but I really hope you’ll take the chance and experience it for yourself.
I can’t wait for you to experience what I have over the last 11 years, and I can’t wait to share everything I’ve personally learned on this journey.
The most potent lessons I’ she learned about getting through struggle are here in my free ebook, Climbing To The Light.
Don’t miss this invitation to step into the life you know you deserve to live, which is the absolute life of your dreams. I’m so glad I took the chance to have dinner with a stranger that day. It’s a day I’ll never forget for the rest of my life.
